What the heck is Intuitive Painting with the Angels?

Beauty is found deep in the Shadow

You may be wondering, what is this Intuitive Painting with the Angels that Leslie is talking about? Well, here is this morning’s example. I pull out my art supplies - paper, watercolors, brushes, water, paper towels and get my table ready. Then, I center myself, offer a prayer for guidance and to be of service, and offer gratitude. With music playing quietly in the background, I take whatever brush feels like it’s calling to me, and start playing. Although my eyes are open, I’m not really thinking of composition, plans or outcomes.

Sometimes the paintings develop into something resembling nature or a landscape, but more often than not they are abstract energy and color, as in this morning’s painting. Often I will hear a “title” or a story that accompanies the play (I don’t view it as work!) This one is “Beauty is found deep in the Shadow.” And, occasionally, as in this morning’s art, I may hear the name of a friend to whom this painting can be offered.

Many paintings are “done” in one sitting; others have multiple layers that occur over time. This winter I will be offering a painting begun (and, perhaps, finished) during my intuitive coaching as an optional add-on to the session. Details will follow later this month!
