Grace & Ease Massage Therapy is now open year-round!

We’ve moved indoors again, into a lovely space in my home.

This was me with my sweet granddaughter about a year ago, following my February 15, 2024 surgery to remove 29 lymph nodes. I'm fairly certain it was the first time I was able to “hold” her, propped in my good arm. So much has happened since that time, and I am so grateful for my renewed strength. I will know more about my cancer journey in mid-May when I have another full-body PET/CT scan and Brain MRI.

While I am optimistic about my health, I have also been contemplating changes in my work, once again.

There are so many challenges and changes. Assaults on our democracy and assaults on our hearts are coming fast and furious. If I try to look at it from a positive viewpoint (which is becoming harder and harder to do) there are so many opportunities to learn even more flexibility and adaptive skills. We are recognizing, I believe, how even more important community and connection are to our well-being; not only our personal well-being, but the well-being of our country as a whole. We are also learning how brave and hopeful we can, and must, be.

It is easy to feel overwhelmed. It is easy to believe that we are helpless in the face of overwhelming misinformation and “edicts.” I believe that we are neither helpless nor hopeless when we care for one another and do whatever we can to make each others' lives matter.

So, what does all this mean for my massage therapy work?

First of all, I am NOT closing. I'm going old school. It no longer makes sense to me to hold open hours and days in my calendar when people are not (for many reasons, all valid) booking appointments. Nor does it make sense to spend 100s of dollars on online schedulers that are not being utilized. So, at least for now, I will be booking “by appointment only.”

What does this mean?

If you would like a therapeutic massage appointment with me, contact me. You can call or text me at 715-497-2972 or email me at lesliejnorris@gmail.com. I will do my best to respond promptly and get you set up for a time that works well for you. For at least the next month or so, I am keeping my scheduler in a modified format, so you will receive a confirmation email of your appointment and can still pre-pay online. If you would like an email or text reminder of your appointment the night before, I am happy to send you one.

Best days for appointments continue to be Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons, but weekends are also a possibility. Thursdays and Friday mornings are generally NOT available.

I wish you all the very best in these trying times, and hope I can be of service to you, providing a wee respite whenever possible.

My phone is 715-497-2972 and my best email is lesliejnorris@gmail.com
